THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS.

THE POSITIVES-:

  • The film is well shot and directed.
  • The last 2 minutes have great shock value.

THE PROBLEMS-:

  • It tries way too hard to be ''Artistic'' in the beginning (shots overstay their welcome by 10-20 seconds)
  • I just didn't feel that the communal tension in the background served any purpose in the story. It's not like domestic violence of such degree is justified simply because the man was under stress from the societal outrage. It could possibly have been an attempt to make the audience sympathize with the man but how did the filmmakers, in such a short span of time, expect us to feel sorry for a man who has beaten half of his wife's face to a pulp?
RATING -: 5/10
